Most headaches are caused by dehydration so be sure that your first resort is to get yourself a nice glass of water. Remember, by the time you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated. Be sure to drink small amounts often throughout the day to avoid headaches from dehydration altogether.

If a headache is caused by an inflammation then a healthy dose of omega three will help to fight it off in no time at all. Try eating fish (salmon is a good choice), flax seeds are also a good source of omega three. There are also Omega 3 capsules that you can take, but that is less natural.
The Peppermint Defence

Headaches that are triggered by smells can sometimes be eased or completely gotten rid of by sniffing peppermint. Peppermint in particular seems to have a pain relieving affect, but you can also find other smells that do the same job. For me camomile works quiet well.
Ginger is Good for Your Soul

If your headache is causing you to feel nauseous than try to have some ginger. I don't recommend eating it raw but be sure to eat something that has a bit of ginger in. Sorry guys that doesn't mean ginger ale or that ginger and elderberry juice you love. Ginger is also great for an upset stomach.

If none of those have worked for you, run yourself a nice warm bath and soak for a while. If you still have the headache go a lay down for an hour and a half.
